Candy Sales 9/20/20

 To raise funds for our activities and badges, the girls sold candy employing a creative idea from one of the Little Flowers. To be safe and maintain distance, the girls set up their candy display and money jar on a portable table near the front door of a neighbor and rang the bell. Then they stepped far back wearing masks and holding signs that explained their mission. The patrons would often select a bag of candy and make a payment.  When they returned indoors, the girls would gather up the materials and move to the next door. We met after a Sunday Mass and while they were getting organized, ended up selling much of their inventory from the departing parishioners. The girls learned marketing and money skills as well as confidence and poise. They raised over $300. Well done, girls!
